It is a truth universally acknowledged that a rainy day becomes much cheerier when one is in possession of a turquoise umbrella.

5/9/11

thwump.

What was that sound? Oh, simply me collapsing on the floor in exhaustion at the thought of all I need to get done.

Just step over me and come on in.

'Tis been a busy few weeks as far as photo sessions and projects go and it promises to only get busier. That said, blog posts are going to fall to the wayside for a week or two. *picks self up long enough to wave a forlorn good-bye*

My bedroom is a colossal mess and I have a dentist appointment in about an hour and twenty minutes. I better get going. In parting, I'll leave you with this scene from one of my favorite movies. If you're lacking in the get-up-and-go department this morning (like me), watching this will give you some pep. Promise.

I know the feeling! Hopefully all you have to do will go smoothly ... can't wait to see you back soon! :-D

Love in Christ,
Vicki

P.S. Funny video clip! I've never seen this movie, although I know my mom likes it - what year was it made? It reminds me of a Bonanza episode! :-D

*steps over Erin's prostrate form* Need a hand up, sister? This feeling of exhaustion must be universal this time of year. This is the third blog post in 24 hours about the same thing.

We'll miss you. :o( *waves just as forlornly*

Poor Erin! I'll send a jar full of ticks (for waking you up from a dead faint, you know) and some peanut butter blossoms (for the stress part of it.)

Haha, I love that clip!

I know just how you feel girl. I feel like thwumping myself. My graduation party is on Saturday so we're spending the week getting ready for that. the house is a huge mess and just seems to be getting worse as the day goes on. How does that happen? I've got to make a couple dozen cupcakes sometime this week, finish school (and I mean for good) I've got three appointments to keep this week, (haircut and all that goodstuff) I'm starting a weekly babysitting job on Wednesday, I've got a party to go to on friday not to mention getting ready for my party on saturday, and then we're heading to Phoenix for another party on Sunday afternoon. Then after this insane week, I'll be cooking *ALLLLLLOOOOTT* for the freezer because mom is having surgery *AGAIN* and I want to have easy meals to pull out, then she has surgery. HOPEFULLY after that life will settle down just a teensy bit, but I'm not counting my chicks 'til they're hatched, that's for sure!!!

I guess this is just a busy time of year for everyone! :)

*Screams* Oh!! I love that movie. "Seven Brides For Seven Brothers" is one of the best movies I've ever seen. :)

Everybody seems busy except for me! My life is a boring pitt of boringness right now. Not trying to complain or anything, but with gas prices nearly 4.oo a gallon, our traveling has dropped even more drastically than it already was before.

Did you know that my sisters and I spent at least thirty minutes laughing at your old posts last night? I'm definitely following.

Aggh, yes, this time of year seems to be filled with SO much to do and so little time to do it. Good luck! :)

Oh my, this brings back memories. I haven't seen that movie in ages. ;P
