It is a truth universally acknowledged that a rainy day becomes much cheerier when one is in possession of a turquoise umbrella.

Just Around the Corner

Yep, graduation is drawing closer and closer...next month to be exact! Since we haven't had any professional senior photos made yet, we settled (for now) with a few portraits in front of my favorite backdrop...the black sheet! :D Different, maybe, but it works nonetheless.

Elisabeth might not appreciate me sharing this because she didn't like any of the photos made of her. *grin* But alas, there is nothing she can do about it. Why? Well, I happen to own the camera...therefore, I maintain sole copyright to these photos and can share them anytime I please. *mwhahaha* ;) Besides, this actually might induce her to leave a comment on my blog...do you realize I've had this blog almost an entire year and my own twin sister has never left a comment? Then again, I've never left one on hers either, but...well, that's different. lol I'm not sure why, but I'll think about it and let you know the answer. :D

Moi...the perhaps slightly wacky owner/operator of this blog. :D

And one of us together. :) Oh, and the previous statement about, uh, my sister never leaving comments on my blog and vice versus? I've decided that there is no difference, but perhaps I might be persuaded to comment on her blog if she did a similar post...you know, sharing pictures of me that I might not care for. But there's just one problem with that, you see. Why?

I own the camera. :D

I love the photos! They are all wonderful pictures... (Please tell Elisabeth, that I know she doesn't like them... but if she doesn't mind my saying so, I think they're gorgeous portraits. ;)) You both look so (to coin an old phrase) Classy and Beautiful! :D .... and may I tell you also, that they are a hundred times better than my Senior photo? :P LOL That's one photo that won't be released to the public without a court order. :P ;) Congrats to you both on your approaching Graduation! :D (expect many such messages prior to the day... ;)) I wish I could be there to congratulate you in person!

Awww, you're so sweet, Lizzy...thank you!! :) I would love to see your senior photo (with or without a court order lol) ;) *Hugs*

Thanks, Lauren Anne! You can see Elisabeth's blog here: http://elisabeth-dixiedoodles.blogspot.com/
Oh, and I have the space at the top of my blog because of the height of my header dimensions (483px). Hope that helps! :D

Thank you, Abi! I can hardly believe it either...I'm counting the days until weekend after next! ;)

Thanks, Bailey! It's so funny...others can usually begin to tell us apart after awhile, but our own aunt STILL has trouble! :) lol

Thanks, Autumn! :) We've gotten to where we use the black sheet quite a bit for portrait purposes. ;)

Thank you so much, Elissa! And Elisabeth says thank you, too! :D
