It is a truth universally acknowledged that a rainy day becomes much cheerier when one is in possession of a turquoise umbrella.

12/8/11

the little bird is free from the cage.

Was that was my dramatic way of saying that, as of today, I have officially completed this semester? Maybe.

Or.

It could be referring to the most precious, adorable-est necklace I found today at Bealls Outlet when Elisabeth and I were on our "school is out for the semester, so therefore it's a good day to go to the mall."

It's kind of like our "the sun is shining, so therefore it's a good day to go to the mall." Not to be confused with our "it's raining today, so therefore it's a good day to go to the mall" or our "it's a day of the week, so therefore it's a good day to go to the mall."

Anyhow.
Here 'tis. A little turquoise bird chirping cheerfully in its li'l cage on the end of a chain.

It makes me happy.

Jewelry and books. Hard to surpass. ;-)

Congrats on the end of your semester! That's always great when school is over, even if its only for a few weeks.

You kill me. You're just too funny. And too cute. And too stylish.

And can I express my jealousy at your finished semester -- I mean, er, my humblest congratulations on your accomplishment?

*HUGSIES*

(My word verification is inkwor -- a war in which assailants toss ink at each other OR a misspelling of "inkworm" OR some inedible Asian dish you find at the food court in the mall where Erin buys cute birdie necklaces.)

Wow, that really is an adorable necklace! What store did you find it in? I wonder if it's something we have this far north ... I'm such a sucker for jewelry. :-)

So ....... does the end of your semester mean that you might be posting a little bit more, then, huh? We've missed your blogging!! :-D

Oh, and while Bailey is on the topic of jealousy, may I add that I had snow on the ground this morning and I am quite jealous of the lovely green things in the background of your photo? *Ahem* ...

Have a great day, my friend! Good to see you back!

Love in Christ,
Vicki
