Hello friends! If you're reading this post, then you've undoubtedly noticed that:
1. My blog looks different
2. My blog's name is different
I'd been planning to wait until next week to share my new design/name, but I just couldn't. Because I love the colors so much. They make me happy and I wanted to share.
Okay, so why did I decide to change my blog's name to "Under My Turquoise Umbrella"? I liked "Erin's Artistic Expressions"...I really did. But you know that feeling you get when you've gone through a chicken sandwich for lunch craze for several weeks and that's all you want to eat and you suddenly realize there's probably something more waiting for you in the world of food?
That very feeling. (Okay, so that might not have been the best illustration, but it was the best I could come up with.)
I wanted something new. Different. Something that makes me happy every time I look at it. And technically, it's not really a big departure from my previous designs as I've always pretty much incorporated my favorite color in there somehow. But the name is T-totally different!
I've also been wanting to really get back to blogging on a regular basis. Wait, I think I've always been pretty sporadic with my posting, so let me re-phrase that. I want to blog more regularly. There, that's better. I already have some posts planned. Granted, it might take me a little while to actually post them on here, but they are in progress!
Oh, please do excuse the lack of photos in this post. The only new ones I have are from yesterday when my youngest sister and I went out to the big green field behind our house with the camera and ended up taking photos that *sorta kinda* resemble the opening scene from "The Sound of Music." (Anyone else ever had that "Maria" urge?) Only I didn't quite pull off the look of a graceful nun. Ellie snapped a photo of me mid-twirl with my hair sticking straight up and I ended up resembling those Troll dolls that used to be all the rage. I ain't sharing that publicly. You understand, I'm sure. ;)
Since we've successfully made it past my ramblings (or you might have just skimmed...I give you free liberty to do so), we can now get to the important question where I was going to ask what you thought of my "new" blog. So...
What do you think?
