Sorry, not the winners of the photography contest yet...in fact, I'm going to have to plead forgiveness and and say that I won't be able to announce the winners until the beginning of next week. :( Why? Well, for one thing, I haven't been able to decide on the winners. Everyone sent in such great entries that y'all have made it very difficult for moi (but I'm not complaining, I assure you!) :D And second, we're going to be gone on a family vacation for the rest of the week. So for the benefit of certain eager entrants (ahem, James ;D), I'm sorry to say that y'all are going to have to wait a bit longer. Seriously, I do apologize for the delay and will try to announce the winners first thing next week!

In the Unlikelihood of Sounding Somewhat Biased ;D
And the award of "Cutest Three Year old Boy to Sing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" in His Pajamas" this year goes to...
...Alexander! Incredible, wasn't it? Would you believe that this was a spontaneous performance without any practice prior to it? You would? ;) Okay, so he's kind of off key and probably should learn the words a little better before performing in front of a large audience...but you've got to give him an A in the cuteness department! Ah, spoken like a true biased older sister. :D
Just to remind everyone, the photography contest closes today at midnight. There have been over thirty great entries so far, and it is going to be so difficult choosing the winners in each category! :)

Photography Contest!
Well, we had a simply wonderful time at the beach (as well as a great 18th birthday!) …this really has no bearing at all to my post, but I thought I would mention it anyhow. ;P I’ve decided that it would be fun to host a photography contest...there won’t be any prizes, but I hope that some will still decide to enter! :)
Anyway, the rules are simple. There are two categories, “Nature” and “People”. You may submit up to two photos to either or both categories. :) Photos should not be edited (although cropping is fine).
The deadline will be June 26th, 2009 after which the contest will close, and I will announce the 1st and 2nd places winners of each category shortly thereafter. You can email your entries to me at writertwin@gmail.com along with your first name (and your blog address will be welcome as well, but not required). If you would like to spread the word on your blog or elsewhere, I would appreciate it!

Graduation-Part 2
This is long overdue, I know, but at least I finally got around to sharing! :)
Our Graduation Reception:
The Saturday that we had the reception was bright and sunny…a fact that we were grateful for since the reception was held outdoors in Mam and Pop’s (our grandparents) backyard/garden. They put so much hard work and time into their yards and also into the party…thank y’all!!
